Golf Tuesday reborn!

January 31, 2026 I have been cleared to play golf again. It seems like a miracle. It also seems like it hasn’t been that long, but it’s been over six months (July 23, 2025!). People tease me about how much I love golf; I will swear to my dying day that it is a spiritual exercise — at least it is for me. I have also learned of another spiritual exercise, physical therapy — because it is also a character builder.

February 2, 2026 Our pastor’s topic was service today, so of course he delved into spiritual gifts. I certainly believe that each one of us is gifted by God, and our gifts are meant to be used for the betterment of all…the building up of the body. I also believe we are gifted in more than one way. Otherwise, we could find our comfortable niche and never venture out. It’s not the gift that determines the circumstances — it’s the circumstances that determine what gifts we employ.
